Hard disk drives
Full surface zero pass with bad area handling, then a full read back.
CertifiedNIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2 · DoD 5220.22-M · IEEE 2883
The DSP-DPDP India engine, finished with zeroes on every sector and a full read back. Nothing of the wipe is left on the drive.
Data Sanitization Pro runs this method for permanent data erasure, with the result checked and certified.

NTLB is our own profile for drives that must come back as if they were never touched. It runs the same engine as DSP-DPDP India: the drive's own erase command where the drive supports it, careful handling of weak and bad areas, time limits on every read and write, and picking the drive up again if it drops off the bus.
It then writes zeroes over every sector from 0 to the last one and reads the whole drive back to check that each sector is zero. No wipe mark, header, footer, timestamp, software name or wipe detail is written to the drive. The certificate stays with you, not on the disk.
Full surface zero pass with bad area handling, then a full read back.
The drive's own erase where it is offered, then zeroes and a full read back.
NVMe Sanitize where supported, then zeroes over the whole namespace and a full read back.
Zeroes over the whole stick or card and a full read back. Nothing is written after.
The engine is the same. NTLB always ends with every sector set to zero, reads the whole drive back to check it and writes nothing of its own on the drive. DSP-DPDP India leaves a small signed wipe mark on the drive.
Yes. The certificate and the log are produced on your computer and in your account. They are just not written to the drive.
Because the partition table is zeroed too. Nothing is created on the drive after the wipe.
Data Sanitization Pro runs all 26 standards offline and verifies the result.
With NTLB, Data Sanitization Pro erases the drive permanently, checks the result and issues a certificate for it.
